Ashley's Portrait
After graduating high school, Ashley decided to invest in a special portrait session for herself, just before entering her first semester at college. Ashley contacted me after reading my reviews on Yelp.com and we scheduled a consultation beforehand to discuss the vision for her shoot. She had a bit of rock star in her and also wanted some fashion inspired shots. Ashley also wanted to celebrate her recent weight loss (you go girl!) and to remember this exciting transitional time in her life. This was her very first portrait session and she was a little nervous at first, but once we got started, she rocked the poses! Read a review of her photo session here.

Red Octane Photo Shoot

I had the pleasure to shoot Charles and Kai Huang, the co-founders of Guitar Hero, the rock n'roll inspired video game, in Mountain View, last week. Besides getting to shoot and talk to these nice, down-to-earth guys who've launched one of the best-selling games of our time, I got to play the newest Aerosmith version of Guitar Hero III, inside Red Octane's personal game room! The new series of wireless guitars are also a beauty, based on a Les Paul model with interchangeable face plates. Fans can get a customized look from the Smashing Pumpkins, Alice Cooper, Guns n' Roses, to name a few. This past Monday, the brothers attended the induction of rockers like John Mellancamp & Madonna at New York's Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Museum. No doubt we will have a lot more music to look forward to in Guitar Hero IV. Rock on!

Jackson at 21 days!

Here are some baby portraits I took of Florence & Ray's 2nd baby boy just before Valentine's day. Jackson was 21 days old and very mellow and sweet. He was very good at being photographed on different fabrics and loves to be massaged. Dylan, Jackson's 2 1/2 year old brother brought Jackson & Mommy some flowers after pre-school. They were a delight to photograph!

Charity Fashion Show in SF!
Here are some pics from a fashion show benefiting the hearing impaired children of Gaza. With about 10 local designers, the show was at Blue Sky Studios in Potrero Hill, SF on January 19th, 2008.
